Job Title: Assistant Professor – MBA (Finance) & Coordinator
Location: SR Group of Institutions, Jhansi.
Department: MBA / Management Studies
Reporting To: Head of Department

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Assistant Professor in Finance with additional responsibilities as a Coordinator for our MBA department in an engineering college. The candidate should have expertise in finance-related subjects and a proven ability to handle academic coordination, student engagement, and administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:1. Teaching & Academic Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engaging lectures and interactive sessions in Finance subjects such as Corporate Finance, Financial Management, Investment Analysis, Risk Management, and Financial Statement Analysis.
  • Design and update curriculum, lesson plans, and assessments to align with industry trends and academic requirements.
  • Guide students in research projects, case studies, and finance-based internships.
  • Encourage experiential learning through financial simulations, stock market analysis, and fintech tools.

2. Research & Professional Development:

  • Engage in academic research, publish in reputed journals, and contribute to conferences in finance and management.
  • Apply for research grants and industry collaborations to enhance finance education and practical learning.
  • Mentor students in research projects and case competitions.

3. Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Academic Coordination: Oversee course planning, scheduling, and faculty coordination to ensure smooth program execution.
  • Student Engagement: Serve as a mentor and point of contact for students regarding academics, career guidance, and extracurricular activities.
  • Industry & Placement Coordination: Collaborate with industry professionals to organize guest lectures, corporate training sessions, internships, and placement drives.
  • Accreditation & Compliance: Ensure adherence to AICTE/UGC norms and assist in accreditation processes such as NBA, NAAC, or ISO certification.
  • Event & Program Management: Plan and execute seminars, workshops, webinars, and industry visits for MBA students.

4. Administrative & Institutional Development:

  • Assist in admissions, marketing, and outreach programs for student enrollment.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum reviews, and policy-making committees.
  • Maintain academic records, coordinate student feedback, and contribute to institutional growth.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Educational Qualification: MBA (Finance) / Ph.D. in Finance / UGC-NET (if applicable).
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience, with at least 1-2 years in a coordination role in an academic institution.
  • Skills Required: Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in financial modeling, analytics, and accounting software is preferred.
  • Preferred Certifications: CFA, FRM, CFP, or any relevant finance certification.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,774.77 – ₹36,202.04 per month
