Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Training Delivery & Curriculum Implementation

  • Conduct theoretical and practical training as per NSQF and BSDM syllabus.
  • Train students in basic and advanced beauty treatments, skincare, and haircare techniques.
  • Demonstrate procedures like facials, makeup application, manicure, pedicure, and hair styling.
  • Teach about beauty products, tools, and hygiene standards.

2. Hands-on Practical Skill Development

  • Provide live demonstrations and supervised hands-on practice for students.
  • Train students on threading, waxing, bleaching, bridal makeup, and hairstyling.
  • Ensure students gain real-world salon experience through practical exercises.
  • Introduce modern beauty trends like nail art, hair coloring, and spa treatments.

3. Customer Service & Professional Behavior Training

  • Teach students about client handling, communication, and consultation techniques.
  • Conduct sessions on workplace professionalism, etiquette, and soft skills.
  • Train students in handling customer queries, complaints, and appointment scheduling.

4. Safety, Hygiene & Compliance Training

  • Ensure students understand hygiene protocols, sanitation, and infection control.
  • Teach about safe usage of beauty tools, chemicals, and skincare products.
  • Train students on personal grooming, work ethics, and industry safety guidelines.

5. Student Assessment & Performance Evaluation

  • Conduct written tests, practical assessments, and live demonstrations.
  • Provide individual feedback and guidance for skill enhancement.
  • Prepare students for certifications and industry-standard beauty exams.

6. Industry Collaboration & Practical Exposure

  • Arrange salon visits, beauty workshops, and guest lectures from industry experts.
  • Facilitate internships, on-the-job training (OJT), and hands-on practice in beauty salons.
  • Keep students updated on latest beauty trends, tools, and techniques.

7. Placement Readiness & Career Guidance

  • Train students in resume writing, job interviews, and freelancing opportunities.
  • Conduct mock interviews and practical salon simulations.
  • Guide students on entrepreneurship, setting up beauty parlors, and self-employment opportunities.

8. Student Motivation & Retention

  • Encourage students to complete training and apply for jobs in the beauty industry.
  • Conduct motivational sessions to boost confidence and enhance skills.
  • Address student concerns and provide mentorship for career growth.

9. Coordination with Placement & Center Teams

  • Work closely with the Center Manager and Placement Officer to ensure students get job opportunities.
  • Provide student performance reports to support placement efforts.
  • Assist in job fairs, employer interviews, and recruitment drives.

10. Ethics, Discipline, and Workplace Readiness

  • Ensure students follow workplace discipline, hygiene standards, and customer service ethics.
  • Teach workplace safety measures and professionalism in salon environments.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful training environment.
