Role Overview

As a Branch Manager, you will lead a team of sales professionals in driving business growth for the direct sales channel. Your primary responsibility will include achieving branch sales targets, recruiting and mentoring a high-performing team, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales and Revenue Growth:
    • Drive branch-level sales targets for life insurance products through the direct channel.
    • Implement strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue goals.
    • Monitor and optimize sales performance by analyzing key metrics.
  2. Team Management:
    • Recruit, train, and manage a team of Relationship Managers (RMs).
    • Provide ongoing mentoring and guidance to ensure team productivity and efficiency.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and implement corrective measures when necessary.
  3. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to ensure high retention rates.
    • Ensure exceptional customer service delivery by addressing client needs and concerns promptly.
    • Promote cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within the existing customer base.
  4. Business Development:
    • Identify new market opportunities and execute branch-level sales campaigns.
    • Drive lead generation activities and convert potential customers into policyholders.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to implement customer acquisition strategies.
  5. Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory and company policies.
    • Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports for senior management.
    • Conduct audits to ensure adherence to operational and compliance guidelines.

Skills and Competencies Required

  • Strong knowledge of life insurance products and the direct sales channel.
  • Proven team management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strategic thinking with a result-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in life insurance, with 1-2 years in a team-handling role in direct sales.
  • Age Limit: 25-40 years preferred.
