Project – DDUKK (Mega)

Location – Ranchi, Gumla & Godda

Responsibilities of a Center Manager in DDU-KK Mega Project

1. Center Operations Management

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the training center to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Ensuring that the training center meets infrastructure and facility standards as per DDU-KK guidelines.
  • Supervising the maintenance of classrooms, labs, and other facilities.

2. Team Supervision and Coordination

  • Managing and coordinating with trainers, mobilizers, placement executives, and other staff.
  • Ensuring that staff members perform their roles effectively and meet their respective targets.
  • Conducting regular team meetings to monitor progress and address challenges.

3. Compliance with DDU-KK Guidelines

  • Ensuring strict adherence to the guidelines and standards set by DDU-KK and NSDC.
  • Overseeing documentation and record-keeping, including candidate data, attendance, and training logs.
  • Preparing and submitting periodic reports to project managers or implementing agencies.

4. Candidate Enrollment and Retention

  • Monitoring mobilization activities to ensure that the center achieves its enrollment targets.
  • Ensuring that candidates are provided with proper counseling and orientation.
  • Addressing issues that may lead to dropouts and implementing strategies to retain candidates.

5. Training Program Oversight

  • Monitoring the delivery of training programs to ensure quality and effectiveness.
  • Ensuring that training schedules are followed and curriculum standards are met.
  • Coordinating with domain trainers and soft skills trainers for seamless integration of training modules.

6. Placement Support

  • Collaborating with placement executives to achieve placement targets for trained candidates.
  • Ensuring candidates are well-prepared for interviews and job opportunities.
  • Tracking post-placement progress and addressing candidate or employer concerns.

7. Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Regularly assessing the performance of the center through metrics like enrollment, attendance, training quality, and placement rates.
  • Conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with standards and guidelines.
  • Identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.

8. Financial and Resource Management

  • Managing the center’s budget and ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Overseeing procurement of equipment, training materials, and other essentials.
  • Ensuring timely disbursement of stipends or other candidate benefits.

9. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Liaising with project implementing agencies, NSDC, and local authorities.
  • Building partnerships with industry and community organizations to support mobilization, training, and placement efforts.

10. Grievance Redressal and Support

  • Acting as the point of contact for resolving grievances from staff or candidates.
  • Ensuring a safe, inclusive, and conducive environment for learning and working.

11. Reporting and Documentation

  • Preparing and submitting accurate reports on training, placements, and other activities.
  • Maintaining comprehensive records of candidates, training outcomes, and placement data for audits and reviews.
