Responsibilities –

A Collection Executive at Bank of Baroda is responsible for managing and recovering overdue payments from customers. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Debt Recovery: Contacting customers with overdue payments via phone, email, or in-person visits to remind them of their outstanding dues and negotiate payment arrangements.
  2. Account Management: Monitoring assigned accounts to identify overdue payments and taking timely action to prevent further delinquency, while maintaining accurate records of all collection activities.
  3. Customer Interaction: Communicating effectively with customers to understand their financial situation, providing guidance on payment options, and resolving any disputes or issues that may be delaying payment.
  4. Negotiation: Working with customers to develop repayment plans or settlements that are agreeable to both the bank and the customer, aiming to recover the maximum amount possible.
  5. Compliance: Ensuring all collection activities comply with bank policies, legal requirements, and regulatory guidelines, including maintaining confidentiality and respecting customer rights.
  6. Reporting: Preparing and submitting regular reports on collection efforts, account status, and recovery rates to the bank’s management team for review and strategy adjustments.
  7. Collaboration: Coordinating with other departments, such as customer service, legal, and credit teams, to manage complex cases and ensure a unified approach to debt recovery.
