📍 Location: Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh
🕒 Job Type: Full-Time | Shift: Day Shift
💰 Salary: ₹23,000 – ₹24,000 per month
📅 Work Mode: In-Person

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Library Assistant to support daily library operations. The ideal candidate will help maintain an organized, accessible, and welcoming library environment while assisting patrons and managing library materials and records.

Key Responsibilities:

📚 Patron Support

  • Help visitors locate books, movies, and digital resources.

  • Assist with check-out, returns, and general library queries.

📖 Library Organization

  • Shelve books and materials in correct order.

  • Maintain a neat and well-organized library space.

💾 Database Management

  • Enter new materials and update library records.

  • Remove outdated materials from the system as required.

💬 Customer Service

  • Respond to general inquiries about library services and policies.

  • Provide assistance with using library equipment (computers, printers, self-checkout).

🎉 Programs & Events

  • Support the setup and registration of library events and programs.

  • Prepare materials and assist during activities.

🛠 Maintenance & Reporting

  • Monitor the condition of books and report damaged items.

  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and quiet library environment.

📁 Administrative Tasks

  • Perform clerical duties like sorting, filing, and organizing documents.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Qualification: High School Diploma (Required); Associate Degree in Library Science or related field (Preferred)

  • Experience: Minimum 1–2 years in a similar role

  • Skills:

    • Good communication and interpersonal skills

    • Basic computer knowledge

    • Attention to detail and organizational ability

    • Customer-friendly attitude
