Location: Ranchi, Gumla & Godda

Salary:  Negotiable

Roles and Responsibilities of a Mobilizer in DDUKK:

1. Community Mobilization and Awareness:

  • Conduct awareness drives to educate rural youth and communities about the DDUKK scheme and its benefits.
  • Organize village meetings, roadshows, and group discussions to inform and motivate potential candidates.
  • Build relationships with local leaders, panchayats, and community influencers to gain their support in mobilizing candidates.

2. Candidate Identification:

  • Identify eligible candidates (rural youth aged 15–35 years, with specific considerations for SC/ST, women, and other disadvantaged groups).
  • Interact with families to address concerns or misconceptions about skill training, migration, or career opportunities.
  • Maintain records of interested candidates and their profiles.

3. Counseling and Motivation:

  • Counsel candidates and their families on the importance of skill development and employment opportunities.
  • Address any doubts or fears about relocation, workplace challenges, or cultural adjustments.

4. Data Collection and Documentation:

  • Collect required documents from candidates (ID proof, qualification certificates, etc.) and ensure proper documentation.
  • Maintain a database of mobilized candidates and update it regularly for tracking and reporting.

5. Coordination with Training Centers:

  • Act as a bridge between the candidates and the training centers to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Inform candidates about training schedules, locations, and benefits such as stipends, accommodation, and meals.

6. Ensuring Inclusivity:

  • Focus on mobilizing candidates from vulnerable and marginalized sections of society, including women, SC/ST, and differently-abled individuals.
  • Promote gender equality and encourage participation from women in training programs.

7. Pre-Training Engagement:

  • Ensure that the selected candidates are fully prepared for training.
  • Conduct basic orientation sessions to set expectations and address last-minute concerns.

8. Reporting and Monitoring:

  • Submit regular progress reports to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Track attendance and participation of candidates during the training program.

9. Post-Placement Follow-Up:

  • Follow up with candidates after they complete the training to ensure they are placed in jobs.
  • Address any challenges faced by candidates in adapting to the work environment.

10. Problem-Solving and Support:

  • Act as a support system for candidates during and after the training.
  • Work to resolve grievances or issues faced by candidates and escalate them to higher authorities if necessary.

  • Strong community engagement and networking abilities.
  • Patience and empathy to address the needs of candidates.
  • Basic understanding of government schemes and local demographics.
  • Proficiency in local languages for effective interaction.
