Project – DDUKK (Mega)

Location – Ranchi, Gumla & Godda

Responsibilities of Mobilizers in DDU-KK (Mega Projects):

1. Community Engagement

  • Awareness Campaigns: Conducting awareness drives in rural areas to inform communities about DDU-KK and its benefits.
  • Networking: Building relationships with local authorities, community leaders, NGOs, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth mobilization.
  • Promotional Activities: Organizing events, workshops, and meetings to explain the program objectives.

2. Candidate Identification and Counseling

  • Screening Candidates: Identifying eligible candidates based on program criteria such as age, education level, and socio-economic background.
  • Counseling: Guiding candidates and their families about the career opportunities and benefits of participating in the program.
  • Addressing Concerns: Resolving queries and addressing reservations from candidates or their families about joining the program.

3. Enrollments

  • Data Collection: Gathering necessary documents and information from candidates for enrollment purposes.
  • Verification: Ensuring the authenticity of candidate details and supporting documents.
  • Database Management: Updating candidate data into the system for tracking and reporting.

4. Collaboration with Training Centers

  • Coordination: Working closely with training centers to ensure smooth onboarding of candidates.
  • Batch Formation: Ensuring that candidates are grouped appropriately for specific skill training programs.
  • Feedback Collection: Gathering insights from training centers to improve mobilization strategies.

5. Regular Follow-ups

  • Retention Support: Maintaining regular contact with candidates to reduce dropouts and ensure active participation.
  • Family Engagement: Keeping families informed about the progress of enrolled candidates.

6. Monitoring and Reporting

  • Progress Reports: Providing daily or weekly updates on mobilization activities and enrollment numbers.
  • Challenges Reporting: Highlighting issues faced during mobilization and suggesting solutions to supervisors.
  • Target Achievement: Ensuring that mobilization targets are met within the stipulated timeframe.

7. Candidate Preparation

  • Motivation: Encouraging candidates to stay committed to the program.
  • Orientation: Providing initial guidance on program structure, training schedules, and career outcomes.
  • Pre-Training Support: Assisting candidates in basic readiness, such as arranging logistics for training centers.

8. Post-Placement Support

  • Placement Tracking: Coordinating with the placement team to track candidates after training.
  • Feedback Collection: Engaging with alumni to gather feedback for program improvement.

Essential Skills and Qualities

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with local languages and culture.
  • Good organizational and planning abilities.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills (data entry and reporting).
  • Ability to motivate and inspire candidates to join the program.
