Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Training Delivery & Curriculum Implementation

  • Conduct theoretical and practical training based on the NSQF and BSDM-approved syllabus.
  • Deliver sector-specific skills training according to the job roles outlined in the project.
  • Use innovative teaching methodologies like role-plays, case studies, and simulations.
  • Ensure quality training delivery through well-structured lesson plans.

2. Practical Skill Development

  • Provide hands-on training and real-world application of skills.
  • Demonstrate sector-specific tools, equipment, and techniques.
  • Facilitate live projects, fieldwork, or industry-based assignments to enhance learning.

3. Student Assessment & Performance Evaluation

  • Conduct weekly tests, assignments, and practical evaluations.
  • Provide constructive feedback and personalized coaching for students.
  • Prepare students for certifications and skill competency tests.

4. Industry Collaboration & Practical Exposure

  • Arrange industrial visits, guest lectures, and expert interaction sessions.
  • Ensure on-the-job training (OJT) or internships for practical experience.
  • Keep students updated on current trends, market demands, and new technologies in their sector.

5. Soft Skills & Employability Training

  • Teach students professional ethics, workplace behavior, and communication skills.
  • Conduct sessions on resume writing, job interview preparation, and customer handling.
  • Train students on teamwork, time management, and problem-solving skills.

6. Placement Readiness & Career Guidance

  • Guide students on job search strategies, freelancing, and entrepreneurship.
  • Conduct mock interviews, group discussions, and job-readiness sessions.
  • Support students in securing jobs, apprenticeships, or self-employment opportunities.

7. Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain student attendance, training records, and assessment reports.
  • Ensure adherence to DDU-GKY and BSDM guidelines in training delivery.
  • Submit monthly progress reports to project coordinators.

8. Student Engagement & Retention

  • Motivate students to complete training and apply their skills effectively.
  • Provide counseling and mentorship to students for career growth.
  • Address student grievances and foster an inclusive learning environment.

9. Coordination with Placement & Center Teams

  • Work closely with the Placement Officer and Center Manager for job placement support.
  • Share student performance insights with the team for better job matching.
  • Participate in placement drives, job fairs, and employer interactions.

10. Ethics, Safety & Discipline

  • Ensure students follow workplace safety protocols and ethical standards.
  • Maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment.
  • Educate students about workplace rights, professionalism, and industry best practices.
