Responsibilities:

  1. Data Management:

    • Collect, manage, and maintain large datasets related to course enrollments, student performance, and platform usage.
    • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across all platforms.
  2. Report Generation:

    • Create and distribute regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as student progress, course completion rates, and user engagement.
    • Develop customized reports based on specific business needs or management requests.
  3. System Management:

    • Oversee the proper functioning of the Management Information System (MIS) on the platform.
    • Ensure timely updates and maintenance of the system to prevent any disruptions in service.
  4. Data Analysis:

    • Analyze data trends to identify areas for improvement in course offerings, student engagement, and overall platform performance.
    • Provide actionable insights to the management team based on data analysis.
  5. Support & Troubleshooting:

    • Provide technical support to team members in using MIS tools and applications.
    • Troubleshoot any issues related to data management or reporting systems.
  6. Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities to streamline data processes and improve the efficiency of data management and reporting.
    • Implement new technologies or methods to enhance the MIS infrastructure.
  7. Collaboration:

    • Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, sales, and academic teams, to ensure that MIS supports their objectives.
    • Coordinate with IT teams to ensure system integration and data flow between different platforms.

Requirements:

  1. Educational Qualifications:

    • A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Advanced certifications in data management or MIS are an added advantage.
  2. Experience:

    • Proven experience as an MIS Executive or in a similar role, with a strong background in data management and reporting.
    • Familiarity with educational platforms or e-learning environments is beneficial.
  3. Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in MIS software, databases (e.g., SQL), and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
    • Strong command of Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis tools.
  4. Analytical Skills:

    • Ability to interpret complex data sets and provide clear, actionable insights.
    • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data-related issues.
  5. Attention to Detail:

    • High level of accuracy in data management and report generation.
    • Keen eye for detail to ensure data integrity and prevent errors.
  6. Communication Skills:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams across the organization.
  7. Adaptability:

    • Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to the evolving needs of the platform.
    • Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
